WELCOME
CPON is an informal group of Privacy Officials with North Carolina companies, crossing several industries, including health care and research, health insurance, financial services, technology (hardware and software), retail companies, energy, and data aggregation. Some members' companies are global, while others have primarily national and / or North Carolina footprints, but all have national and North Carolina interests. CPON also has some members who are privacy experts with law firms.

| The Carolina Privacy Officials Network (CPON) is hosting its Fifth Annual Data Privacy Day Symposium on January 27, 2012 in Durham, North Carolina for CPON members and approved guests. Data Privacy Day is an annual international celebration designed to promote awareness about privacy and education about best privacy practices. On January 28 and in the surrounding weeks, the United States, Canada, the European Union and many other countries celebrate Data Privacy Day. |
